Stephanie Pavol
Account Executive
As Account Executive, Stephanie Pavol’s work spans Lesic & Camper’s diverse client roster. A member of Lesic & Camper’s Columbus staff since October 2005, Stephanie provides expertise in media relations, advocacy support, grassroots development, event planning, writing, research and design.
Stephanie helped create and manage the Ohio chapter of the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease, a national effort aimed at increasing awareness about the need for better prevention and management of chronic disease. The Ohio coalition includes more than 95 partners from business, labor, health care provider, patient, and faith groups, and is widely recognized by elected officials and policymakers. For PFCD in 2008, Stephanie managed a series five regional chronic disease forums across the state, which attracted more than 350 health care stakeholders.
In addition, Stephanie has helped direct and implement communications strategies in Ohio for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, the Ohio State Medical Association, Credit Suisse, the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Ohio, and the Independent Insurance Agents of Ohio.
Stephanie brings a strong knowledge of public affairs and state government through her previous work in the Ohio Senate. As a Legislative Service Commission intern, she helped staff the Senate Energy & Public Utilities and Civil Justice Committees, resolved constituent issues, and drafted news releases, bi-weekly columns, speeches and talking points for multiple state senators.
Prior to joining the Ohio Senate, Stephanie worked at the Ohio Hospital Association, where she assisted with an issue education campaign to increase awareness among 230,000 hospital employees about Ohio’s medical malpractice insurance crisis. She has also interned with the Ohio SchoolNet Commission (now called eTech Ohio) and BalletMet Columbus.
Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, magna cum laude, from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University. As a public relations and advertising major, she was also active in OU’s Public Relations Student Society of America chapter and served as an account executive for the chapter’s award-winning firm, ImPRessions.
Stephanie also serves on the board of trustees for the E.W. Scripps Society of Alumni and Friends and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity of Fairfield County.
